Shortly after acquiring land north of Oliver 34 years ago, Georgina deLagran realized the fragility of the ecosystems in the South Okanagan. Her family kept their footprint small and outside influences to a minimum. As a result, approximately 41 of the original 41.5 acres that were purchased remain ecologically intact.
This unique property is home to four healthy ecosystems that create valuable habitat for native flora and fauna, including the rapidly disappearing antelope-brush plant community. Through partnership with the Okanagan Similkameen Stewardship Society, Georgina hopes to see this beautiful oasis remain unspoiled for years to come.
