Osoyoos Desert Centre becomes Wildlife Habitat Steward

The Osoyoos Desert Society manages a 67 acre property
for conservation in Canada's Pocket Desert.
The Okanagan Similkameen Stewardship Society (OSSS) is thrilled to be partners with the Osoyoos Desert Society through our Wildlife Habitat Steward program.

The Osoyoos Desert Society manages a 67-acre property and nature interpretive facility located 3 km north of Osoyoos and exists to conserve and restore the antelope-brush ecosystem in the southern Okanagan. Their mission is to promote conservation and restoration of the globally imperilled Antelope Brush plant community and they do so through managing and conserving the Osoyoos Desert Centre property, restoring habitats on the site, participating in research projects and providing educational opportunities through guided and self-guided tours, film nights and other community outreach projects.
